Choosing terrain for the best shots
Positioning for both the athlete and photographer
Skiing and snowboarding for the money shot

The workshop will include a full day of instruction in the backcountry followed by an evening classroom session. During the classroom session we will look at the images from the day and analyze ways to improve for both the people taking the photos and the people in the photos. This will be an intimate, hands on session. Space is limited.
Participants need any camera that can be set to full manual mode (DSLR to pocket cam).
Dan Hudson has over 60 cover shots to his credit and thousands of images published around the world including National Geographic, Outside, and all the major ski / snowboard magazines. Hudson was a senior photographer at Snowboarder Magazine and has won numerous awards.
